Job Title: Night Porter

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Night Porter to join our team at Resorts World Birmingham. As a Night Porter, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during the night shift.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Anticipate and meet the needs of our guests, ensuring their stay is comfortable and enjoyable.
  • Build strong relationships with guests, encouraging them to return to our hotel.
  • Check guests in and out, ensuring accurate billing and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Communicate effectively with all departments, ensuring seamless service delivery.
  • Handle guest comments and complaints, escalating issues to management as necessary.
  • Be familiar with and promote hotel facilities and attractions.
  • Assist guests with requests, providing information and making bookings as needed.
  • Complete tasks efficiently, ensuring a thorough handover at the end of each shift.
  • Deal with any issues that arise during the night shift, resolving them promptly and professionally.
  • Process refunds and adjustments as required.
  • Deliver room service to the highest standards.
  • Conduct regular security checks and floor walks.
Requirements:
  • A friendly and welcoming approach.
  • High standards of dress and presentation.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including a pleasant telephone manner.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, bank holidays, and night shifts.
