About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Risk Model Implementation Specialist to join our team at MERJE. As a key member of our risk management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of credit risk models and ensuring their accuracy and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Model Implementation: Support the development and implementation of credit risk models, ensuring they are aligned with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Model Maintenance: Collaborate with the risk management team to maintain and update credit risk models, ensuring they remain accurate and effective.
  • Change Management: Support the implementation of new models and changes to existing models, ensuring a seamless transition and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Develop and maintain analytics dashboards and reports to monitor credit risk performance and provide insights to stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with risk management teams, including forecasting, portfolio management, and collections, to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Support the team in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, including IFRS9.
  • Process Documentation: Maintain up-to-date process documentation, including model changes and updates.
Requirements
  • IFRS9 Experience: Strong experience with IFRS9 and credit risk modeling.
  • Credit Risk Modeling: Experience working with credit risk models, including validation, building, and developing.
  • SAS Skills: Proficiency in SAS and advanced Excel skills.
  • Industry Knowledge: Good understanding of current local market dynamics, key players, and strategies.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Good understanding of risk management regulation and guidelines on loss reserve methodologies and relevant accounting standards.
