About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Economics Analyst to join our team at GlobalData. As a key member of our construction industry research team, you will be responsible for developing in-depth understanding of the construction industry in major markets and regions around the world.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage analysts and economists responsible for authoring construction reports that will be used by clients to inform their development strategies and commercial decisions.
  2. Support GlobalData clients in utilising our research, delivering periodic webinars and client presentations.
  3. Develop expertise in writing insightful in-depth reports and producing updated forecasts to strict deadlines.
  4. Produce regular written analysis on industry developments and provide commentary to media organisations on request.

Requirements

  1. A minimum 2:1 degree or equivalent qualification in economics or business-related discipline.
  2. Excellent written English.
  3. Strong analytical skills and a high degree of numeracy, including knowledge of forecasting techniques and use of software (such as Excel).
  4. Relevant work experience in analysing construction markets of any kind is an advantage, particularly European and/or Asia-Pacific markets.
