We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Social Value Lead to join our team and assist us in achieving outstanding social value results.
In this role, you will be tasked with formulating and executing our social value strategy, ensuring alignment with our business goals, clients, stakeholders, and the broader community. You will collaborate closely with project teams, supply chain partners, and local communities to implement effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Engage with clients and local stakeholders to comprehend their needs and priorities for developing social value strategies.
- Coordinate and support the execution of social value initiatives.
- Develop social value plans, including establishing project KPIs, tracking progress, and assessing outcomes.
- Monitor and evaluate overall social value performance utilizing social value calculators.
- Identify innovative social value opportunities that yield measurable positive impacts.
- Prepare and present social value reports and case studies.
- Stay informed about social value policies, legislation, and best practices.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences, promoting our commitment to social value.
- Collaborate closely with our construction and marketing teams to ensure a cohesive and effective social value approach.
- Assist in crafting tailored responses to social value inquiries in tenders.
Skills and Experience
- Ideally, experience in developing and implementing social value strategies and plans, along with a solid understanding of the Social Value Act (2012) and measuring social value through models such as TOMs.
- Proven experience in collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to identify and comprehend the needs of local communities/stakeholders to drive impactful outcomes.
- Strong problem-solving abilities through innovative thinking and approaches.
