Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include fostering strong supplier partnerships, evaluating market trends, and implementing cost-reduction strategies. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will ensure alignment with changing requirements while driving performance improvements. Your Contributions
- Strategize negotiations, establish awarding criteria, and prepare sourcing board approvals, adhering to the suppliers outlined by the commodity strategy to maximize potential.
- Negotiate contracts at local, regional, or multi-site levels in collaboration with relevant procurement managers or independently, covering aspects such as pricing, delivery timelines, and payment conditions.
- Contribute to the EcoSystem commodity strategy and curate a list of preferred suppliers.
- Manage relationships with designated suppliers, ensuring alignment with Commodity Management when necessary.
- Support and maintain supplier segmentation of the relevant supply base by actively representing the customer perspective in Commodity Circles.
- Analyze local and regional market trends and their application in commodity strategy.
- Identify customer needs and assist in the execution process, providing insights into the sourcing procedure.
- Monitor supplier performance and communicate relevant updates to customers.
- Generate, document, and implement cost-saving initiatives; track and report pertinent KPIs.
- Promote early procurement and supplier engagement in cost-reduction activities.
- Identify procurement risks and opportunities, implementing appropriate measures.
- Recognize potential contractual elements and coordinate with strategic commodity management to ensure their inclusion in existing or new contracts.
- Educate business unit stakeholders on preferred strategies, suppliers, and behaviors to enhance performance and compliance with corporate strategies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a complex, dynamic global organizational environment.
- Over 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing.
- Background in indirect procurement and contract management.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and customer relationship management skills.
- Strong commercial, contractual, and project management capabilities.
- Familiarity with collaborating within a global commodity management community.
