Retail Account Manager - Coffee (F&B), Bureaux and Vending

As a key member of our retail team, you will collaborate with business partners to elevate sales and passenger experience across all retail outlets and commercial services within the terminal. Your primary focus will be on comprehending key performance indicators and strategizing/reporting accordingly, utilizing various data resources such as sales metrics, passenger spend, and quality service management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement retail action plans to achieve financial business plan targets in collaboration with senior account managers.
  • Ensure business partners operate within Heathrow's fire and health and safety policies.
  • Identify and incorporate new opportunities, operational activities, and work streams to maximize safety, service, and sales opportunities.
  • Support standards and service initiatives set out by the company.
  • Stay up-to-date with terminal developments and projects to identify and implement tactical opportunities, marketing promotions, and joint initiatives to increase average transaction value.
  • Use data and analytics to inform decisions and develop solutions to grow sales and income while improving the passenger experience.
  • Assist with setting up new business partners at Heathrow, acting as the first point of contact and escalation for operational queries.
Requirements:
  • Experience within Heathrow retail or a high street/travel hub retail operations environment.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proven influencing skills in a commercial and/or operational environment.
  • Knowledge of airport retail operations and strategic drivers behind the airport business.
  • Ability to deliver challenging targets and identify new tactical opportunities to grow revenue.
  • Good planning and organizational skills, with knowledge/experience of business planning processes and Power BI.
