Job Title: Transition Manager

Investigo is seeking a skilled Transition Manager to join our team. As a key member of our IT Service Management team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth transition of new and modified IT services into the live operational environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement service transition plans to minimize business risk and ensure seamless delivery of IT services.
  • Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to understand organizational objectives and design IT services that meet their needs.
  • Establish and maintain service design documentation, including service catalogs, service models, and supporting processes.
  • Lead the service design process, ensuring new or modified services are designed to meet business needs, technical requirements, and operational capabilities.
  • Work with vendors and internal stakeholders to implement new tools and processes, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
  • Manage relationships with third parties to ensure deliverables align with organizational requirements.
  • Continuously review and refine transition practices and related processes to improve efficiency, minimize errors, and enhance overall quality of service delivery.
Requirements:
  • A Level IT, BTEC in Computing, or equivalent.
  • MCP or equivalent.
  • PRINCE2 desirable.
  • ITIL - V3/4 Foundation.
  • ITIL – V3 Intermediate (Service Design and/or Service Transition – desirable)
  • ITIL - V4 Practitioner (Release Management - preferred)
  • ITIL – Practice Manager (desirable)
  • ITIL - Managing Professional (desirable).
