Job Title: Transition Manager

As a Transition Manager at Investigo, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that new and modified IT services are effectively designed, transitioned, and delivered to meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design the new service transition practice which will provide excellent transition of services to Persimmon.
  • Create service transition plans and agree clear SLAs for delivery.
  • Establish the governance to support the service transition practice ensuring that defined processes are adhered to when transitioning services from development into the live environment.
  • Work with vendors and internal stakeholders to implement new tools and the designed processes where necessary.
  • Ensure that comprehensive documentation is created and maintained for all service design and transition activities.
  • Manage the relationships with third parties to ensure that deliverables align with organisational requirements and standards.
  • Continuously review and refine the transition practices and related processes to improve efficiency, minimise errors, and enhance the overall quality of service delivery.
Requirements:
  • A Level IT, BTEC in Computing or equivalent.
  • MCP or equivalent.
  • PRINCE2 would be desirable.
  • ITIL - V3/4 Foundation.
  • ITIL – V3 Intermediate (Service Design and/or Service Transition – desirable)
  • ITIL - V4 Practitioner (Release Management - preferred)
  • ITIL – Practice Manager (desirable)
  • ITIL - Managing Professional (desirable).
