About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Care Team Leader to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a Senior Care Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of care staff, providing training, supervision, and delegating duties on shift. You will also support with the administration and ordering of medication, reviewing and updating resident care plans and risk assessments, and liaising with healthcare professionals and resident family members.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong background in healthcare, with a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care. You will have previous experience in a residential care setting, with proven team leadership skills and the ability to make informed decisions to support the needs and wellbeing of our residents. You will be a warm and compassionate individual, committed to providing individualized care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of care staff, providing training, supervision, and delegating duties on shift
  • Support with the administration and ordering of medication
  • Review and update resident care plans and risk assessments
  • Liaise with healthcare professionals and resident family members
  • Develop and implement care plans to meet the needs of residents
