ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions is seeking a skilled Business Finance Support Manager to join our team. As a key member of our financial operations department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounting records for accounts payable and receivable.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining purchase ledger processes, including verifying supplier invoices against purchase orders and checking supplier statements.
- Raising invoice queries with suppliers and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Processing supplier monthly payments, including foreign currency transactions.
- Verifying goods received against purchase orders and invoices.
- Managing sales ledger processes, including generating and sending sales invoices and customer statements.
- Effective credit control and customer account management.
- Timely processing of credit card transactions.
- Identifying and addressing discrepancies in documentation.
- Updating databases and spreadsheets related to accounting.
- Providing support with month-end and year-end financial reporting.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A strong background in finance administration, preferably in a similar industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting or equivalent qualifications/experience.
- Advanced knowledge of spreadsheet software, such as Excel.
- Ability to learn and use new accounting technology and seek out additional duties.
- Confidentiality in handling sensitive data.
