Job Overview

CV Library is a leading manufacturer looking for a talented Production Planning Manager to undertake a varied role in support of an electro-mechanical product portfolio.

Responsibilities

As Master Scheduler Lead, you will be responsible for managing the master planning on site through an experienced team of planners, buyers and schedulers. You will utilise your Master Scheduling background and strategic acumen to drive manufacturing efficiency improvements and ensure that material is released to production effectively to support On Time Delivery (OTD).

You will lead, motivate and develop your team, as well as provide support to drive a culture of master planning and ensure the company hits its On Time Delivery and World Class Reliability goals.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Line management of the planning and demand management team on site
  2. Strategic input to drive change within the planning and demand function
  3. Manage the material master process on SAP
  4. Development and optimisation of the processes and systems
  5. Develop strong relationships with customers
Requirements
  • A motivated, commercially focused individual with the ability to lead and drive systems and business changes to ensure on-time delivery of materials to production.
  • Proven leadership / man-management skills
  • Preferably with an engineering or supply chain qualification and several years of experience in planning a complex production schedule.
  • Experience of SAP or ERP / MRP systems essential.
