About the Role:

Mega Nursing & Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Compassionate Care Professional to join our team. This role is responsible for providing exceptional care and support to individuals within our community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting assessments with new service users and conducting regular reviews with existing clients.
  • Preparing support plans, care plans, and all necessary documents for service users' folders, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with company stakeholders, hospital teams, social workers, doctors, and nurses.
  • Starting and overseeing new care packages.
  • Preparing the rota every two weeks.
  • Training senior support workers and key colleagues, allocating and supervising their work and development.
  • Liaising with social workers regarding current service users.
  • Handling issues and concerns, collaborating with the branch manager and social workers to resolve challenging situations. Reporting to the branch manager.
  • Providing coverage for care calls and participating in on-call duties as needed.
  • Maintaining current skills through regular training for personal and professional development.
  • Assisting with induction, and training of new staff.
  • Conducting regular spot checks and supervisions to ensure service quality.
  • Participating in and assisting with staff meetings.
  • Representing the company in a professional manner in all communications.
  • Carrying out risk assessments under Health and Safety requirements.
  • Assisting with satisfaction surveys and monitoring staff performance.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection guidelines.
  • Ensuring the principles of the Mental Capacity Act are applied to all service users.
  • Performing the responsibilities of Community Support Workers, including providing care according to individually tailored care plans, ensuring timely medication administration, assisting with mobility and daily activities, preparing meals, and offering companionship.
  • Reporting any issues and concerns to senior staff members. Completing all relevant forms and reports, including MAR sheets, prompt sheets, incident logs, and other necessary documents.
  • Providing care with service users' consent and completing ad-hoc duties as requested by the branch manager.
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year experience as Care Coordinator (Domiciliary Care)
  • At least Level 3 in Health & Social Care
  • Must have full valid UK Driving Licence
  • Must be able to use own car for work-purposes (Including having Business Insurance)
Working Times:

Monday - Friday + Every Other Weekend (between 7am - 10pm)

Full-Time Only

Must be able to travel to the following areas if required:

  • Gloucestershire
