Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the financial administration of all patient accounts, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Resolve general queries received in the department, providing excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Support the triage and resolution of queries raised by patients and consultants, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
- Ensure that information received from external stakeholders meets the minimum level of compliance, maintaining high standards of data quality.
- Work with the Business Administration Manager to continually improve processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
- Assist in general office duties such as filing, post, and other administrative tasks.
Requirements:
- Experience in working in a busy customer-facing business support function, with a strong understanding of financial administration and customer service principles.
- Confident and customer-focused communicator, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Confident in working with numbers and large volumes of data, with a strong understanding of data quality and compliance.
- Education to GCSE level in English and Maths, with an NVQ Level 2 in Business and Administration or equivalent.
- Excellent IT skills, including Outlook, Excel, and Word, with strong keyboard skills and ability to learn new software.
- Strong attention to detail, persistence, resilience, and determination to achieve goals set.
- Ability to develop good working relationships with key stakeholders within the business.

Nuffield Health Guildford Hospital provides high-quality healthcare, working with leading consultants to offer a range of services and treatments for preventing, diagnosing, and treating a wide array of medical conditions. Our facilities include 49 en-suite patient bedrooms, 4 operating theatres, acute dependency, and oncology units.
