About Amwell Group Practice
We are a friendly and successful GP practice in South London, situated in a diverse area with a large patient population. Our team includes 3 GP partners, 6 salaried GPs, an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, a Practice Nurse, Pharmacists, a First Contact Practitioner, and a Practice Manager.
Job Summary
We are looking for a confident and friendly Healthcare Assistant/Nursing Associate to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will support the nursing and clinical team in the delivery of nursing services, working within their scope of practice to provide high-quality care to our patients.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will assist clinical staff in the provision of treatment, preventative care, health promotion, and patient education, including NHS Health Checks and Long Term Conditions management. They will also be responsible for delivering and assisting in the provision of patient care, health promotion, and education, as well as supporting the nursing and clinical team in the delivery of nursing services.
Person Specification
Essential qualifications include a Healthcare Assistant or Nursing Associate qualification and GCSEs or equivalent. Desirable qualifications include Phlebotomy certification, the ability to administer immunisations, and experience working in a Primary Care setting.
