Support Funeral Staff

Dignity PLC seeks a skilled and compassionate Casual Funeral Service Operative to join our team. This role offers the flexibility to choose from available shifts, making it perfect for students, retirees, or those seeking additional income.
You'll be responsible for assisting funeral directors with pre-funeral checks, route planning, and address verification. Additionally, you'll participate in coffining duties, trim coffins/caskets, dress/deposit deceased individuals, and bear the coffin during funeral services.
Responsibilities:- Have a Full UK Manual Driving License.
- Be physically able to lift and carry heavy weights in accordance with manual handling procedures.
- Assist funeral directors with pre-funeral checks.
- Trim coffins/caskets and dress/deposit deceased individuals.
- Bear the coffin during funeral services.
