Seven Resourcing is seeking a highly skilled Waste Sites Operations Officer to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our waste management sites.
Key Responsibilities:- Training and Development: Deliver training programs to site staff, including workbooks and e-learning modules, to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties safely and effectively.
- Toolbox Talks and Safety Briefings: Develop and deliver toolbox talks and other training packages to site staff, focusing on safety and environmental best practices.
- Safe Systems of Work and Risk Assessments: Draft, monitor, and enforce the Council's safe systems of work and risk assessments for all site operations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Waste Movement Records and Compliance: Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of waste movements, including waste transfer paperwork, to ensure compliance with the site's Environmental Permit and the Waste Duty of Care.
- Quality Management System: Develop and implement processes to monitor and enforce the Council's Quality Management System for processes at the RHWS, ensuring high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
- Education and Experience: Educated to a degree level or equivalent, with significant experience in a related field.
- Recent Experience: Recent experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
- Teamwork and Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a team and communicate complex information to stakeholders.
- Licensing and Knowledge: Knowledge of licensing regulations and requirements, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical context.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
