Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to work in a fantastic school in Crosby, Liverpool. This is a long-term, full-time position with working hours from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday. Please note that you may be required to stay later for occasional team meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide 1:1 and group support for students with Special Educational Needs, particularly those with Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC), Learning Difficulties (LD), and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

* Assist in managing challenging behaviour effectively within both classroom and outdoor settings.

* Collaborate with teaching staff, SEN coordinators, and other support staff to ensure the best outcomes for the children.

* Occasionally participate in team meetings and planning sessions outside of standard working hours.

Requirements:

* Right to work in the UK.

* Must hold or be willing to process an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service.

* Ability to provide two professional child-related references.
