About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Domestic Services Team at Chesterfield Royal Hospital.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic environment for patients, staff, and visitors by performing various cleaning tasks and adhering to NHS National cleaning standards.

Main Responsibilities

  • Clean specific areas in line with training and approved methods.
  • Work in accordance with the day-to-day schedule and as directed.
  • Safely utilise mechanical and electrical cleaning equipment.
  • Prevent the spread of infection by following the National colour code system.
  • Ensure cleaning cupboards are locked and secured.
  • Report accidents and near misses or unsafe situations.
  • Treat patients, visitors, and staff with dignity and respect.
  • Undertake specialist cleans and other duties as requested.
