About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Domestic Services Team at Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for patients, working closely with our team to provide high-quality domestic services.
Main Responsibilities
- Clean specific areas in line with training and NHS National cleaning standards.
- Work in accordance with the day-to-day schedule, as directed by management.
- Safely utilize mechanical and electrical cleaning equipment, following appropriate training.
- Prevent the spread of infection by following the National colour code system.
- Ensure cleaning cupboards are locked and secured when not in use.
- Comply with mandatory training and attend other relevant training, as directed.
- Comply with relevant hospital policies and procedures.
- Report accidents and near misses or unsafe situations.
- Treat patients, visitors, and staff with dignity and respect.
- Undertake specialist cleans, using specific PPE as required.
- Undertake any other duties as requested by line management.
- Participate in cleaning audits and take action as required.
