Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Education Support Specialist to join our team at Prospero Teaching. This role will focus on providing person-centred support to individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviours associated with learning disabilities, autistic spectrum conditions, and mental health problems in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and young people displaying challenging behaviour. De-escalation training is highly advantageous, and youth work or similar experience is also considered.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must hold the Right to Work in the UK, possess an Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate, and provide two professional child-related references covering the last two years.

Contract Details:

This Behavioural Support Worker position offers an attractive salary of £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, and working hours from 8:30am to 3:30pm daily.
