Production Shift Leader Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Production Shift Leader to join our client's manufacturing team. As a key member of the site's operations, you will be responsible for supervising and managing day-to-day production activities, ensuring compliance with HACCP and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage production operations, processes, and systems
  • Delegate work to staff, manage workload, and ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Oversee production processes to ensure compliance with HACCP and food safety standards
  • Develop and train the team to ensure staff compliance with HACCP procedures
  • Ensure operations meet product specifications, quality, and productivity targets
  • Manage input stock and review inventory regularly to meet production needs
  • Ensure Health and Safety policies are adhered to
  • Manage a team of workers, handle personnel issues, and conduct regular reviews

Requirements:

  • Supervisory experience in a highly automated food manufacturing environment
  • Highly organized with excellent planning and time management skills
  • Food hygiene, HACCP, and 5s training
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Ability to use Microsoft programs
  • Good numeracy and analytical skills
