We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Production Shift Leader to join our client's manufacturing team. As a key member of the site's operations, you will be responsible for supervising and managing day-to-day production activities, ensuring compliance with HACCP and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage production operations, processes, and systems
- Delegate work to staff, manage workload, and ensure timely completion of tasks
- Oversee production processes to ensure compliance with HACCP and food safety standards
- Develop and train the team to ensure staff compliance with HACCP procedures
- Ensure operations meet product specifications, quality, and productivity targets
- Manage input stock and review inventory regularly to meet production needs
- Ensure Health and Safety policies are adhered to
- Manage a team of workers, handle personnel issues, and conduct regular reviews
Requirements:
- Supervisory experience in a highly automated food manufacturing environment
- Highly organized with excellent planning and time management skills
- Food hygiene, HACCP, and 5s training
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Ability to use Microsoft programs
- Good numeracy and analytical skills
