Rolling Stock Technician - Consultancy Role

Are you a skilled Rolling Stock Technician looking for a new challenge? Do you enjoy working in a hybrid environment, combining hands-on technical work with office-based projects? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team at GTS Group Ltd as a Rolling Stock Technician - Consultancy Role.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Rolling Stock Technician to join our consultancy team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in inspecting and assessing fleet performance and maintenance, spending 1-3 days per week on-site with clients. The rest of your time will be based in the office (or from home), where you will assist with:

  • Developing and updating maintenance documentation
  • Supporting the delivery of engineering solutions
  • Further education opportunities will be given and the opportunity to progress as a consultant

You will work closely with our consultancy team on technical projects and fleet management strategies, providing technical expertise for asset management and improvement projects. Your proven experience as a Rolling Stock Technician or a similar role in the rail industry will be invaluable in this position.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Rolling Stock Technician or a similar role in the rail industry
  • Strong understanding of fleet maintenance, inspections, and assessments
  • Ability to work both independently on-site and collaboratively in the office
