SGS Care Ltd is currently seeking a dedicated Residential Childcare Practitioner to join our team at one of our Children's Homes in Houghton le Spring.

We are looking for an individual who can provide high-quality care and support to children aged 7-17. As a Residential Childcare Practitioner, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the emotional and physical well-being of our young residents.

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of child development and the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues. If you have a Level 3 NVQ in Residential Childcare or equivalent qualifications, and experience working with children with complex needs, we would love to hear from you.

The salary for this role is £27,144 - £36,192 per annum, plus a competitive sleep-in rate of £52 per night. You will also receive full induction, training, and support, as well as access to specialist CPD certified training and accredited qualifications free of charge.
