Care Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Support Worker to join our team in Houghton Le Spring. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity.
Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and caring individual to make a real difference in the lives of local people. As a Care Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing personal care, companionship, and support to our clients in their own homes.
You will work closely with our management team to ensure that our clients receive the highest standard of care, tailored to their individual needs. This may include assisting with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and medication administration, as well as providing emotional support and companionship.
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, patience, and a positive attitude. You will also need to be flexible and able to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care and support to clients, including bathing, dressing, and medication administration
- Assist clients with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation and housekeeping
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Work closely with management to develop and implement care plans tailored to client needs
