We are looking for an experienced HGV driver to join our team as a Regional Tanker Driver at GAP Group LTD in the Midlands region.

The Role:

As a Regional Tanker Driver, you will be responsible for the safe removal of waste from customer sites and the delivery of non-potable water. You must ensure that tankers are in a safe working position prior to emptying toilets and follow all environmental and health and safety regulations.

You will be based out of a local depot and travel throughout the region, covering for sickness and holidays or where additional resource is required. You will also be responsible for training new and existing 26t Tanker Drivers on safe delivery practices.

Job Requirements:

  • Significant experience working within an HGV driving role
  • Class 2 driving licence, Driver CPC with a minimum of 35 hours completed and valid Digital Tachograph card
  • People supervision experience within the driving/hire industry is preferable
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to manage customer queries in a professional manner
