Transport Co-Ordinator

Strive Supply Chain is seeking a skilled Transport Co-Ordinator to join their team in Bristol. As a key member of the Transport Management team, you will be responsible for planning routes for a fleet of 50 vans, ensuring timely deliveries to catering establishments throughout the South West.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and optimize routes to meet customer requirements and maximize vehicle efficiency
  • Dispatch drivers, ensuring all necessary checks are completed and drivers are briefed on changes to customer requirements
  • Conduct return to work discussions and complete associated documents for management review
  • Operate within traffic laws and ensure the site's Operator's Licence is not compromised
  • Complete paperwork packs using a computer system and provide information for management
  • Liaise with Warehouse teams to ensure vehicle availability and assist with loading checks
  • Brief drivers pre-departure and undertake vehicle checks
  • Complete nightly reports accurately and timely
About You:
  • Experience in a transport or warehouse department, ideally with multi-drop experience
  • Ability to work night shifts and manage time-pressurized operations
