Job Description

Siemens Healthineers Magnet Technology in Eynsham, Oxford is a world leader in superconducting magnetic resonance imaging magnets for medical applications. We take pride in developing innovative technology that makes MRI systems more widely accessible worldwide.

In this 12-month internship, you will have the opportunity to shape DE&I initiatives at Magnet Technology, benchmarking best practices and developing education and training initiatives. Your role will involve researching and benchmarking best-in-class DE&I approaches within and outside Siemens Healthineers.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • You will work collaboratively with the Learning & Development team to develop education and training initiatives.
  • You will be responsible for maintaining processes to monitor business participation and analyse data for continuous improvement.
  • You will drive and support various DE&I events according to the Magnet Technology roadmap.
  • You will drive projects surrounding 'New Facility Readiness' and our 'Future Vision' in preparation for the new facility.
  • You will provide support to the business to improve the SHS Forum score.

About You

We are looking for an undergraduate student currently studying towards a degree and completing a 12-month industrial placement or sandwich year as part of their degree. You must have a passion for progressing diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace.

Key Requirements

  • You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enjoying communicating with various people and stakeholders.
  • You have excellent presentation and administration skills, with good attention to detail, time management, and task coordination skills.
  • You have solid IT skills and some experience of data analysis.
  • You are proactive, team-oriented, with a willingness to learn and take initiative.

Estimated Salary

The estimated salary for this role is £22,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
