Band 6 Chemotherapy Specialist Nurse

As a Band 6 Chemotherapy Nurse at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in our NIHR Imperial Clinical Research Facility. With a strong focus on oncology and haematology, you will be responsible for administering trial drugs, monitoring participants' progress, and collecting and processing biological samples.
This role requires a registered nurse with a BSc or working towards a BSc in nursing, and recognised chemotherapy course. You will also need to have experience of working within an oncology or haematology ward environment as a qualified nurse. The successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive salary of £38,890 - £44,414 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits.
Main Responsibilities:
- Administer trial drugs and monitor participants' progress.
- Collect and process biological samples.
- Remain up to date with Trust and local policies and help support the unit's quality accounts.
