About the RoleThis part-time position involves working 19 hours per week, with a salary of approximately £36,600 - £44,035 per annum, depending on experience. The role is based in the Woodlands Day Unit, where we treat patients with malignant and non-malignant haematology conditions.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized holistic care plans in conjunction with the inter-professional team.
- Act as a proficient practitioner in SACT care, providing clinical teaching and mentorship to nursing and non-nursing staff.
- A minimum of three years' relevant experience at Band 5 or above, including experience of chemotherapy administration, cannulation, and venepuncture.
- Relevant post-registration qualifications, such as a Chemotherapy/Oncology/Haematology Course.
- Ability to work effectively in a changing environment, supporting planned change and promoting teamwork skills.
