Job Summary

Js3 Recruitment is seeking a skilled Senior Staff Nurse to work in a busy chemotherapy unit. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth patient flow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high standards of patient care in accordance with best practice guidelines
  • Work collaboratively with the sister/charge nurse to maintain a safe and efficient environment
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients receiving chemotherapy treatment
  • Provide effective communication and education to patients and their families

Requirements

  • NMC registration as a nurse
  • Experience in chemotherapy administration
  • Post-registration experience in haematology or oncology
  • Clinical skills in venepuncture, cannulation, and intravenous drug administration
  • A wide knowledge of systemic anti-cancer treatments and their side effects
