About the Role:

LTF Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant with a background in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to join a mainstream primary school in the Sutton Coldfield area.

This role will involve offering individualised support as well as facilitating small group sessions for pupils who require additional assistance in achieving their learning goals.

The ideal candidate will have a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools, or an equivalent relevant qualification, and experience working with SEN students in an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting SEN pupils in one-on-one, small group, and whole-class environments
  • Managing, updating, and reviewing EHCP progress
  • Working collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team and SENDCO to provide a nurturing and supportive learning environment
