Payroll Support Specialist

GXO Logistics is looking for an experienced Payroll Coordinator to join its team. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the HR and Payroll department, ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of payroll for employees.
The role is based in Crick, and the ideal candidate will have previous payroll experience in a logistics or warehouse environment. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, where you will have to complete administration tasks related to payroll queries, use and maintain the time and attendance system, be responsible for coordination and record-keeping of absence and sickness, and manage the absence hotline.
The salary for this role is up to £28,000 per annum, with a benefits package including flexible dental insurance plans, a company-sponsored pension scheme, a 24/7 online GP service, life assurance, and a fully comprehensive employee assistance programme.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the HR and Payroll department.
- Ensure the smooth and accurate processing of payroll for employees.
- Complete administration tasks related to payroll queries.
- Use and maintain the time and attendance system in order to process the on-site weekly and monthly payroll within specified deadlines.
- Be responsible for the coordination and record-keeping of absence and sickness and manage the absence hotline.
