We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Domestic Abuse Early Responder. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with domestic abuse perpetrators in police custody to engage them in our service and provide tailored support to help them address their offending behavior.

About the Job

The successful candidate will have several years of experience working with domestic abuse perpetrators, completing risk assessments, and safeguarding victims, children, and families. You will also have experience in providing support, advice, and advocacy, as well as engaging successfully with challenging individuals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with domestic abuse perpetrators in police custody to discuss their offending behavior and provide tailored support
  • Complete risk assessments and develop DA offender risk management plans
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure the safety of victims and families
  • Deliver a holistic support service to meet the needs of each individual
