About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health Visitor to take on a senior leadership role within our team. As a Health Visitor Operational Lead, you will be responsible for providing visible, professional leadership to your team and playing a key role in shaping policies, practices, and strategic initiatives to deliver our service to high standards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage a dedicated team of Health Visitors, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
  2. Contribute to the development of policies, practices, and strategic initiatives that align with the Trust's vision and values.
  3. Oversee service performance, identifying risks and implementing improvements to ensure the delivery of excellent patient care.
  4. Develop and implement operational plans, ensuring the effective use of resources and the achievement of service objectives.
  5. Collaborate with the management team to foster a culture of lifelong learning and reflective practice within the team.
Requirements
  1. Registered Nurse/Midwife/RMN with a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (Health Visiting) qualification.
  2. Evidence of continued professional development, including management training.
  3. Highly developed knowledge of current public health issues and a sound clinical knowledge of health visiting practice.
  4. Competent to use a range of IT systems and databases, with a good understanding of data in performance monitoring of services.
  5. Ability to travel to multiple sites, with a car driver's license.
