Job Title: Health Visitor

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Health Visitor to join our team at Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a Health Visitor, you will play a vital role in promoting the health and wellbeing of children and families in our community.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team, providing high-quality care and services to children and families. As a Health Visitor, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting home visits to assess the health and wellbeing of children and families
  • Providing guidance and support on health and wellbeing issues, including breastfeeding and parent-infant relationships
  • Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and agencies to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Assessing child and family needs, using appropriate assessment and risk tools
  • Developing and implementing care plans to promote the health and wellbeing of children and families

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Registration as a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (Health Visiting) with the NMC
  • Previous experience in managing cases where a child has a protection plan
  • A high standard of clinical work
  • A valid UK driving license with access to a vehicle
