Sales and Marketing Manager Opportunity

Pertemps Daventry is seeking an experienced Sales and Marketing Manager to drive growth in the construction safety market. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships with key clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, and driving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Development: Develop and maintain relationships with key clients in the construction sector, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Sales and Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and product development teams to ensure sales strategies align with product availability and company messaging.
  • Database and CRM Management: Oversee and manage the CRM system, ensuring it is used effectively by the sales team to track interactions, analyse sales trends, and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Reporting: Prepare and deliver regular sales performance reports to management, highlighting sales activity, customer relationships, and potential new opportunities.
  • Sales Target Management: Set, monitor, and achieve sales targets in coordination with senior management.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience in sales and marketing, with a track record of success in driving sales targets.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the construction industry is beneficial.
  • IT Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other office-based IT systems. Experience with CRM systems is a plus.
  • Education: Formal qualification in Business, Sales, or a related field is preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of building relationships with clients and presenting sales strategies to leadership.
