We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Grants and Corporate Funding Officer to join our team at Home-Start Newark. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will be responsible for identifying and securing funding opportunities from government agencies, foundations, and private entities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify potential grant opportunities, crafting persuasive and tailored grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and supporting documents.
  • Build and maintain relationships with businesses, securing new corporate fundraising opportunities.
  • Manage a calendar of submissions and reporting deadlines, ensuring compliance with funder requirements.
  • Collaborate with the project manager to align grant applications and fundraising opportunities with organisational goals and project needs.
  • Prepare and submit grant monitoring reports, meeting expectations from business donors and partners.

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, with excellent interpersonal skills, presentation and networking skills.
  • Proficient in using a range of software and other relevant tools.
