We are seeking a highly experienced Digital Programme Manager to join our team at Swansea Bay University Health Board. As a key member of our Digital Programmes department, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of projects that support the development of healthcare services.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of experience in project management, preferably within a performance improvement and/or IT environment. You will also possess a deep understanding of the working of healthcare governance, performance management, improvement programmes, and information systems in the NHS.

In this role, you will lead on a range of operational/strategic plans for performance improvement in new areas across sites, including diagnostic work. You will develop solutions and impart sometimes unwelcome news to generate need for change. Your ability to use verbal, written & presentation skills to communicate complex information to senior management teams, large groups of staff or on behalf of project team will be essential.

Our ideal candidate will have a Master's degree level qualification or equivalent experience, with expertise in change management methodologies such as LEAN. They will also be PRINCE2 practitioner certified and have experience of managing a broad program of work, which requires changes to planning, delivery and escalation.

The salary for this role is estimated at £55,000-£70,000 per annum, depending on experience. If you are passionate about technology and its use to improve quality of care and patient safety, we encourage you to apply.
