Job Description:

This esteemed institution seeks a Mentorship Training Specialist to manage a caseload of learners, providing high-quality training, coaching, mentoring, and assessment to ensure timely completion of apprenticeships/qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initial Assessment and Planning: Conduct initial assessments to determine learner readiness and create tailored individual learning plans.
  • Training and Coaching: Design and deliver effective training and coaching, covering KSBs comprehensively, both at college and employer sites.
  • Feedback and Progress Monitoring: Conduct review meetings, set and monitor targets, and provide constructive feedback to support learner progression.
  • Record Keeping and Compliance: Maintain accurate records and adhere to college and awarding body standards.

Requirements:

  • GCSE grade 4 (C) or equivalent in Maths and English.
  • Relevant Level 3 qualification and commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Flexibility for evening, weekend, and holiday work when necessary.
  • Must have a valid driving licence with business insurance or alternative transport options for travel between sites.
