Job Title: Junior Buyer

Crew Clothing Head Office is seeking a highly motivated and organized Junior Buyer to join our team. As a Junior Buyer, you will play a key role in the commercialisation of our product range, driving profitable sales growth and ensuring that our collections meet the quality expectations of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Head of Buying in the development of our product range, ensuring that it meets all established targets and is aligned with our brand vision.
  • Manage the process of delivering agreed product ranges from prototype to product delivered in store, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
  • Identify new product opportunities and present them to the Head of Buying, ensuring that they meet our commercial and on-brand requirements.
  • Develop strong working relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and executing product ranges that exceed budgeted intake margin for all channel ranges.
  • Manage the production process from SMS confirmation to delivery into warehouse, ensuring effective communication and progress.
  • Work collaboratively with the Merchandisers to ensure that the signed-off range reflects the agreed options and product/colour mix.
  • Attend weekly departmental team and trade meetings to ensure that the team is well-informed and prepared.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Excellent computer literacy in Excel/Outlook/Word.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage a work schedule while working to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to initiate and build strong relationships with suppliers and other department members.
  • Team work but motivated and able to work independently.
  • Understanding of the Buying function and critical Path processes and skilled in management of.
