Junior Buyer Role Overview:

As a Junior Buyer at Currys, you will be responsible for supporting the management of key supplier relationships in line with our category strategy. This includes selecting and negotiating product ranges, deals, and pricing, as well as keeping a close eye on the market to see what new trends are emerging and ensuring we are competitive in our current range.

You will also be responsible for analysing trading performance and recommending actions to drive our business. To achieve this, you will need to work closely with a number of our key business development partners, as well as supporting and working with some famous brands and suppliers.

As part of this role, you will have the opportunity to complete a Level 4 apprenticeship in Buying & Merchandising, which will help you develop the skills and knowledge you need to progress in your career.

We are looking for someone with established experience as an Assistant Buyer, Junior buyer, or a similar role within a commercial function. You will need to have experience working with suppliers or within a commercial or buying team, as well as a relevant degree (or equivalent), e.g. Marketing, Merchandising, Retail, or Business.
