About the Role
We are seeking an experienced EHS Manager to join our team at Alstom, a leading global provider of transportation solutions. As an EHS Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, contractors, and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Conduct regular site audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Provide training and guidance to employees and contractors on EHS procedures and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate EHS risks.
- Develop and maintain EHS metrics and reporting to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
About You
We are looking for an experienced EHS professional with a strong background in environmental health and safety management. You will have a proven track record of developing and implementing effective EHS programs and a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Requirements
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.
- IEMA Certificate or equivalent.
- Internal Quality Auditor certification.
- Good knowledge of Construction and CDM Regulations.
- Experience of working with ISO14001 and ISO45001.
- Working knowledge of Railway specific standards.
- Working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
