Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineering Trainee to join our team at On Target Recruitment Ltd. As a Mechanical Engineering Trainee, you will be responsible for assisting in the service and maintenance of engineering instruments.

Job Responsibilities

  • You will be based in our Newmarket office and work Monday to Friday.
  • As a Mechanical Engineering Trainee, you will assist with booking service work, shipping instruments, and providing technical support over the phone.
  • Once trained, there may be opportunities to move into a field-based on-site role.

Benefits

  • The successful candidate can expect a salary of £23,000 - £25,500 per annum.
  • In addition to your salary, you will receive an annual bonus.
  • You will also be entitled to 25 days holiday per year.
  • We offer private healthcare and life insurance as part of our benefits package.

Requirements

  • A qualification in mechanical engineering or a related discipline is essential for this role.
