Mechanical Engineer Specialist

**Salary:** £42,000 - £50,000 per annum, plus £3,000 overtime allowance.
TxM Recruit Ltd is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer Specialist to perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment across various properties within the business. Key responsibilities include performing routine inspections, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, conducting preventive maintenance tasks, collaborating with team members and contractors, maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, staying updated on industry trends and best practices, adhering to health and safety regulations, and assisting in planning and executing capital improvement projects.
The ideal candidate will possess a qualification to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, suitable multi-skilled apprenticeship experience, proven experience in mechanical/electrical roles, strong knowledge of mechanical systems, proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical/electrical issues, demonstrated ability to perform preventive maintenance tasks and effectively manage multiple priorities, flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or on-call shifts for emergency repairs or special projects, and a valid driver's license.
