Care Operations Manager

Harris Hill is seeking a highly skilled Care Operations Manager to lead our team in Surrey. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our charity, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, and maximizing the number of carers supported in Surrey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead a team of Senior Service Managers to achieve our goals.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Care Operations and Registered Manager to ensure compliance and safe working practices.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with the operations, training, and compliance teams to ensure a robust approach to quality and contractual obligations.
  • Work with the Fundraising, Marketing, and Communications team to ensure clear direction for fundraising and grants.
  • Liaise with finance to ensure clear reporting and budget allocation.
  • Produce reports outlining the performance of the care team for submission to the Quality Assurance and Compliance Group.
  • Grow and develop services within the care team through increasing delivered hours in accordance with Surrey County Council Contracts.
Requirements:
  • Minimum NVQ 5 in Leadership/Management in Health and Social Care or a transferrable qualification in a similar discipline.
  • Previous organizational leadership and line management experience in a care setting, including rostering and completing observations and supervisions.
  • Ability to develop excellent working relationships with team members, carers, and people with care and support needs, while maintaining appropriate personal boundaries.
