Job Summary:

As a key member of our Solution Development team, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing innovative warehouse automation solutions that enhance our customers' supply chains and revolutionize their operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with sales teams, customers, and project managers to understand customer requirements and develop tailored solutions.
  • Apply your knowledge of Dematic modules and sub-modules to design cost-effective solutions.
  • Develop 3D models and 2D drawings to visualize solutions.
  • Work with 3rd party suppliers to specify equipment used in solutions.
  • Provide sales project managers with technical information and assist in compiling project handovers.
  • Occasionally attend site visits and customer presentations to understand customer requirements and site conditions.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
  • Product knowledge within warehouse automation or similar technology in an aligned automation or materials-handling environment.
  • Good communication skills and ability to present ideas to senior stakeholders.
  • Experience with design tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp Pro, or similar.
  • General understanding of engineering competencies (Mechanical, Hardware, Software, Controls, or Mechatronics Applications).
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites and for customer presentations.
