Role Overview

As a SEN Support Assistant, you will collaborate with the Year 6 team to offer tailored support to two pupils with special educational needs. Both students are on the autism spectrum and possess strong academic abilities, yet they require guidance to maintain focus on their tasks and manage their emotions effectively. Your responsibilities will include working with one child in the morning and the other in the afternoon, with an emphasis on preparing them for their upcoming assessments. Although the role primarily involves one-on-one support, the school encourages fostering independence, allowing you to engage with larger groups and other students as needed.

This position is available on a full-time contract basis.
