We are seeking an experienced pharmacy technician to lead and manage our medicines optimisation processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance and supporting the development of pharmacy staff.

Job Summary:
  • Lead a comprehensive medicine optimisation service across site
  • Line management, co-ordination and development of medicine optimisation pharmacy technicians and assistants

Key Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent and BTEC in Pharmaceutical Science or equivalent
  • Accredited Medicines Optimisation Technician
  • Managing Patients' medicines requirements (PODs & One-stop) PWDS or equivalent
  • Medicine Reconciliation PWDS or equivalent
  • Discharge facilitation PWDS or equivalent (or willing to complete)
  • Clinical prioritisation (or willing to complete)
  • Accredited Accuracy Checking Technician or willing to work towards Accredited Checking Technician accreditation within 6 months of commencing employment

Salary:

£35,000 - £45,000 per annum
