Job Summary

A dynamic and ambitious individual is required to fill the role of Pharmacy Practice Manager at ASDA. Reporting directly into the Area Manager, this position combines patient care and commercial focus, requiring a strong leader with a passion for healthcare and driving business success.

About the Role

This hybrid role demands a professional with exceptional leadership skills, who can motivate their team to deliver outstanding patient experiences while achieving targets and deadlines. As a key member of the pharmacy team, you will oversee the support and development of direct reports and locums, ensuring high standards of customer service and compliance within GPhC operating standards.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and develop the pharmacy team to deliver excellent patient experiences and achieve exceptional levels of patient safety
  • Take direct responsibility for supporting and developing direct reports and locums to maintain high standards of customer service and compliance
  • Balance line management and pharmacist roles to deliver safe working practices
  • Inspire and motivate your team to deliver results within defined Key Performance Indicators (KRAs)
Requirements
  • A fully qualified pharmacist registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • Accredited to deliver national and local services for the NHS and private healthcare
  • Experience in challenging, confronting, and solving difficult situations while maintaining solid connections in-store and with field teams
