Primary Care Services Manager

**About the Role: **
We are seeking an experienced and passionate leader to join our dynamic ICB team as a Primary Care Services Manager.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a thriving team that supports the full range of GP, dental, pharmacy, and optometry services within our Integrated Care System (ICS) and across Somerset.
As a Primary Care Services Manager, you will provide senior management support to our busy team, collaborating closely with the SW Collaborative Commissioning Hub, other specialist teams within the ICB, and across the system.
Your role will encompass developing strategic work plans, leading transformational projects, and ensuring that our commissioning and contracting priorities align with the wider goals of our ICS.
You will also act as the primary care locality lead for one of our four localities, where you'll build strong relationships with PCN and practice leaders to help deliver on our primary care strategy and national targets.
This position calls for an innovative and strategic thinker who can navigate complex challenges whether addressing practice resilience, quality, or business viability.

Our salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum depending on experience.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Promote innovation and change to improve population health.
- Contribute local expertise to influence policies and strategies.
- Handle procurement, contract negotiations, and technical queries.
**Collaborative Working:
To take responsibility for ensuring an effective and productive relationship between the ICB and specific Primary Care Networks in a locality area.
Work in tandem with the ICB Integrated Neighbourhood Leads to ensure delivery of national and local strategic priorities and objectives.
Deputise for the Head of GMS and Head of PODs as and when required.
Support team leadership and development.
